Spotlight on Clarins Extra-Firming Mask

There are times when we all look in the mirror and stare in disbelief at the tired and stressed face staring back at us. I was having one of those moments and decided to try Clarins Extra-Firming Mask (£46).

This mauve wonder contains palmitoyl glycine, a lipamino acid that Clarins claims helps to make up for the detrimental effects of the stretching of the fibroblast caused by repeated muscle contractions in the face.

Indeed, after 10 minutes, it did make my face look more radiant and less stressed. My skin also looked plumper, thanks to the hyaluronic acid it contains, and felt extremely hydrated when I washed it off.

The scent of aromatic plants is calming and helps you to de-stress as you apply it using what Clarins calls its ”relaxing application method”. It morphs into a creamy-gel when it comes into contact with your skin.

When things get a bit manic and the tell-tale signs start to show, you may want to give this product a whirl.
