There is nothing like a quick swipe of blusher to liven up
your complexion and give you a radiant glow.
Clarins has recently launched Joli Blush (£27) which comes
in eight shades. My favourite is the Cheeky Purple which is a warm plummy
colour, practically identical to my
natural flush. The closer the match the more realistic your blusher will look.
I like the fact it has a lovely light texture, is laced with
plant oils and it lasts for hours. I prefer powders to creams because there is
more colour choice. Today’s formulas are so finely milled that with the right
application, you just look healthy, not caked in make-up.
Where you place your blusher can make all the difference to
your face. On mature skins, it is better to place it on the upper part of your
cheekbones rather than the apples to give a lifted look.
Along with the blushers there are four new Natural Lip
Perfectors (£18.50) in intense shades which tone with the blushers.
Moisturising and non-sticky, these are perfect for those that like a strong
lip.
