Pink fizz for Valentine’s Day

Whether it is for a romantic occasion or you simply want to spoil yourself, there is nothing like a glass of pink fizz to spice up the occasion.

While there are lots to choose from, there is something decadent about a good glass of pink champagne.

Billecart-Salmon Brut Rosé, £60, Berry Bros. & Rudd (bbr.com)
Stunningly sophisticated, this strawberry-soaked champagne oozes class and elegance. My all-time favourite non-vintage rosé champagne. This is seduction in a bottle.

San Leo Rosato NV, £10.49 (until February 16, £6.99) Waitrose
A zesty wine with bags of fruity flavour. This Italian vino spumante, low in alcohol (11%), is wickedly enticing.

Good Ordinary Claret, £54, case of six, Berry Bros. & Rudd (bbr.com)
If you are looking for a good claret, wine merchant Berry Bros. & Rudd has teamed up with the renowned British fashion designer Paul Smith to create two limited-edition labels. There is also the 2014 Good Ordinary White (£53.10 for a case of six). You will want to buy this for the bottle alone.
