Spotlight on Neutrogena Hydrogel Recovery Masks and Instant Facial Cream and Clay Masks

This is not a paid post. Products are press samples.

South Korea is renowned for setting beauty trends on the world stage. Cloudless skin, a term it coined to describe a flawless complexion achieved by a healthy lifestyle, plenty of sleep, and a good skincare regime is something that we all yearn for.

Sheet masks have long been popular with the Koreans. There seems to be a mask for everything. Convenient and easy to use they can give your skin an instant boost.

Inspired by Korean beauty learnings, Neutrogena has launched a new affordable range of masks in two different formulas, sheet and cream, that will help to address any concerns you have about your skin. As we know the condition can vary dependent on the weather, whether you have been sitting in an aeroplane for hours on end, or simply feel tired and stressed.

The Hydrogel Recovery Masks (£3.50, ocado.com) have been designed to rejuvenate a fatigue-looking complexion in only 15 minutes. Brimming with goodies that are, the company says, the equivalent of an entire 30ml bottle of serum. So you get about one’s month’s supply in one go.

What is clever about these masks is that the sheet is divided into two parts, one for the upper and one for the lower face, which means you can mix and match the masks according to your own needs and wants.

My favourite is the Hydro Boost which is loaded with hyaluronic acid, a humectant that helps to keep moisture in the skin. After using this my complexion did feel lovely and looked refreshed.

There is also an Instant Facial Cream Mask Pod (£3.50) which is great for keeping in your bag so that you can used it when and where you want. I used it at night and wiped the residue off in the morning.

The other masks and pods in the range are:

Radiance Boost (£3.50) with vitamin B3, which aims to give you glowing skin. There is also an Instant Facial Cream Mask Pod (£3.50).

Purifying Boost (£3.50) contains seaweed extract (a clay Facial Cream Pod will be launched later in the year) to detoxify the skin.

Ageless Boost (£3.50) containing adenosine, said to smooth the skin so fine lines appear less noticeable. Instant Facial Cream Mask Pods (£3.50).
