Is this the natural alternative to Botox?

You have to admit that the Duchess of Cornwall’s skin, looks amazing these days. And, apparently, it is all thanks to Deborah Mitchell’s organic, non-surgical facelifts.

The product that nobody seems able to live without is Deborah’s Heaven Bee Venom Mask (from £73), a needle free youth-in-a-jar treatment. It has obviously impressed the Duchess as she, reportedly, gave Kate Middleton her first pot shortly after her engagement.

The venom (which is safely extracted from bees in New Zealand and enriched with manuka honey), causes a slight stinging reaction, which stimulates  the skin to produce collagen and elastin. This makes the skin look plumper and firmer, so lines are “magically” ironed out.

The youthful, rosy glow lasted all day

As the Bee Venom Mask has been hailed as the natural alternative to Botox and A-listers such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Kylie and Danni Minogue hanker after Deborah’s range of products and treatments, I, too wanted a slice of the action. So, off I went to the Hale Clinic, London (she also runs the Heaven salon in Shropshire) to see the lady, widely-regarded as the country’s top facialist.

According to Deborah, her facial changes the way the face structure looks, After having my face, shoulders and upper back cleansed, toned and massaged I was totally chilled out and ready for the bee venom to work its magic.

Deborah, after the treatment, exclaimed: “I’ve changed the shape of your eyes.” I am not so sure about that, or that any lines had disappeared – but, this was only my first shot – however, my skin looked as if I had spent a day in the sun. “You look so innocent,” were her parting words.

The youthful, rosy glow lasted all day. If I win the lottery, I’ll be sending for Deborah’s special Golden Bee Venom Mask (£352) that has a high concentration of bee venom, plus double the quantity of Heaven’s secret signature ingredient that is in the original mask, which, thank goodness, I now have in my possession. Do I believe in miracles?  Since I met Deborah, I just might!
