Clinique’s Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion+
(£25) has with been a best-seller for a while. It now has a sister,
Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream. This promises not only to hydrate but also to strengthen and
repair the skin's barrier,
which according to Clinique, will make it less vulnerable to problems such as environmental
aggressors, stress, allergies and irritation.
Dramatically Different Moisturizing Cream has been
formulated with a cocktail of ingredients which the company has called the “sensational
six”.
The Barrier Strengthening Complex comprises sunflower
seed cake, barley extract and cucumber fruit extract all
which help to bolster the skin’s moisture barrier so it is in a better
position to ward off any attacks.
Forming the Moisture Complex are hyaluronic acid,
which can hold up to 1,000 times its weight in water, aiding the skin to cling on to moisture, glycerine, another humectant and dimethicone, a
silicone-based moisturising agent which has a silky feel.
If you like the original DDML and want something
richer then this is a good bet.
