A product that can do more than one job is always a welcome
addition to my make-up collection.
The Clinique Pop Lacquer Lip Colour + Primer (£16) glides
across the lips leaving them feeling
smooth and moisturised as well as giving your lips a punchy pop of colour.
As this is a lacquer rather than a balm it is slightly
heavier and although it feels a bit tackier on the lips it is not really
sticky.
It has a high shine which softens as it fades, so the look is still pretty. Another
plus is that this is fragrance free so it does not irritate my sensitive lips.

I like the applicator because it has a small sponge which is easier to use
than bigger ones enabling you to get greater precision. You can apply the
colour to the middle of the lip and push it out towards the edges.
It comes in 10 “Pop-inspired” shades ranging from nude to a
strong red and there is also a deep purple. My favourite is the Cocoa Pop, a
pretty pinky brown which enhances my lips perfectly.
