exciting edition to its Black Line fragrance collection. No.00 Auriel
(£125, Fenwick, Bond Street), a unisex scent which has an equal balance of masculine and
feminine notes throughout its composition.
There is an initial burst of berries and herbs which dries
down to a heady spicy rose absolute laced with jasmine sambac and sweet muguet.
The roots of black agarwood and a hint of sandalwood and patchouli give the
scent a delicious warmth.
Perfumes smell different on each of us. On me it dries down
to a pleasant almost powdery fragrance. It’s sexy and seductive.
