Italian hairdresser Rossano Ferretti is renowned globally
for his “Invisible Haircut”. Paying attention to the way hair falls, structure
and texture, he designs a style with this patented technique which works
especially for you. (Usually hairdressers cut a shape and then style the hair
into position.)
Now you can try his products at Selfridges (selfridges.com). Working with
a team of top scientists using the latest technologies, Ferretti has launched a
range which makes hair in his words: “naturally more beautiful.” Made in Italy
from, what Ferretti claims “are the best natural ingredients” which are blended
with carefully chosen vegetable oils, the line offers something for everyone’s
individual needs.
I tried Splendido, the colour maintenance shampoo (£34) and
matching conditioner (£36) which are formulated with a special blend of natural
oils and infused with mandarin orange and linseed extracts.
Sulphate-free, the duo are moisturising and gentle enough
for my fine hair and can be used as frequently as you wish. My hair felt
hydrated and had a lovely sheen after using it. The fragrance is enough to keep
me hooked.
For those that want to turn up the volume, try the Grandioso
volumising shampoo (£32) and conditioner (£34). If you have dry, thick hair
that needs a helping hand to smooth it, there is the Intenso softening and
smoothing shampoo (£32) and Hairmask (£48) which are loaded with avocado oil
and vitamin E. The names alone are enough to tempt you to buy something in the
line.
To protect the hair, Brilliante (£38) is a good helper. This oil not only adds moisture to the hair, it also has a UV filter so great for the summer to help your colour last longer.

If, like me, you want to keep the dreaded frizz at bay, have Dolce (£32), a protective and detangling spray to
hand. Use to shield your hair from the harmful effects of heated appliances.
There are other products in the range such as Prodigio
(£78), a regenerating potion and treatment.
A luxurious product line that performs.
